This Is Not a Government Office. Grant County Warrant Records cannot verify a warrant, accept payment, arrange surrender, set a hearing, or provide legal advice. Only the issuing court controls recall or another court remedy.
Official Grant County Contacts
Use the case type and case number to choose a first call. County Court is the usual route for traffic, misdemeanor, infraction, village-ordinance, and preliminary-felony records. The District Court Clerk is the route for district criminal records and related writs or orders. The sheriff answers service and custody questions.

- Clerk of the District Court: Christee Haney, 105 E Harrison St, PO Box 139, Hyannis, NE 69350, (308) 458-2488, fax (308) 458-2780, christee.haney@grantcountyne.gov.

- County public-record routing: the county FAQ says a request can go to the department holding the record or to the County Clerk for forwarding. Confirm the fee and destination because the FAQ has stale references elsewhere.
The official county phone directory and Grant County Court profile should be checked before relying on a time-sensitive contact.
Where to Direct a Warrant Question
Ask the court whether a warrant exists in the case, whether it is active, and what payment, appearance, motion, bond, or ability-to-pay step is required. Ask the sheriff whether its office holds a process for service or custody. Do not ask the sheriff to recall a court order.
- Personal status: search Nebraska JUSTICE, then call the issuing court with the case number.
- Felony or district record: contact the District Court Clerk and ask about the docket, order, return, or current status.
- Traffic or ordinance record: contact Grant County Court and provide the citation or case number.
- Public document request: send a narrow request to the office that holds the record and ask for a cost estimate.
The sheriff contact page is a service source, not a public warrant roster.
